2-1 at the moment....
2-2 on aggregate, would put Chelsea through on away goals.

And I keep mis-hearing the commentator when he says Cuenca, oops.

SO if Chelscum win it do they get to play next year like the Scouse gits did ? or do they now have to qualify by getting in the top 4 ???

I think the holders automatically get a place now

Re: As much as I hate to say it
If Chelsea win in Munich and finish outside the top four, only the top three in the Premier League will join them in the Champions League next season. Tense times for Arsenal and Tottenham too!

I wouldn't be worried for Arsenal. There a shoe in.
But your loyalty to the Chelsea cause could most certainly cone back to bite you!!

Fluked it a bit, but well done Chelsea. That's a phenomenal task to beat Barca over 2 legs.

I didn't watch it but am I right in saying Barca were 2-0 up against 10 men and Chelsea scored 2?

That's right. Messi took a penalty and hit the post, too.

Re: As much as I hate to say it
You have to say "Well done" Chelsea but what a horrible two-leg display they put on. Fair enough, go to Barca and you're likely to have to defend and hang on for your life but Chelsea played both legs à la Italian teams of old, sit back, do eff-all and hope for a break. I didn't much appreciate Italian football at that time and I certainly don't like to see an English team play like that. If the end justifies the means, OK from a Chelsea supporter's viewpoint I suppose but you really don't want to see your team play such an ugly version of the game we love, do you?

I didn't see the second leg jaypers but the first leg was anti football as far as I'm concerned. Good result of course and you have to critisize Barca for not putting the game beyond Chelsea. But parking the bus at home is rubbish.
