The young lad being encouraged by his boss to tell how he won the George Medal was brilliant, and so was the old girl who'd been blown out of her bed by a bomb.
Did you see the clip of John Lyall training the youth squad?

I know. They had nothing by our standards, but had so much spirit.

By the way, did you see the bit about the prefabs? My aunt lived in one for years. I loved that little house.

We lived in a prefab in hainult for a few years way back,,,then mum and dad was offered a place on broard mead estate which they said thanks but no thanks....

Aaaah pre-fabs ... great little places ..all gone here in South Brum Sad i remember them well when i was a nipper... looked so small but inside there seemed like loads of room ...

The bathroom in my aunt's prefab had a round window, like a porthole. I used to think it was like being on a boat. Based on no evidence at all, of course.
