Think Lambert wants to offer him a coaching role and hope that he will accept. The amount of tributes from fellow footballers show how well respected he was. Genuinely seems a top person. 3,000 Petrov masks have been made for Wigan game, lets hope we are safe by then. Also, he is leading the team out to show their appreciation for the fans after the Chelsea game. His statement yesterday summed up the man perfectly and really hope he stays involved with the club as is a massive influence to the young players, even throughout his illness he has been there for them

I think Petrov will spend his time championing his lieukemia charity. The ONE good thing that comes from a famous personality suffering the disease is the amount of money raised for treatment and research into beating cancer. Petrov has been given an extra chance of life, most likely due to the fact he was diagnosed so early, which was again due to his profession. By his statement he looks like he wants to give something back and he comes across as a really top bloke. I don't think he'll be involved in coaching for a long time and wish him the very best in whatever he chooses to do with the rest of his life.

He's clearly very much liked. Respect to him.
