So Inconsistent

Why?

We play better against the better teams in the fact that they come at us and we are good on the counter attack. The problem is against clubs similar to ourselves. We are not good enough to break them down and are too predictable in the way we play. That really was disgraceful yesterday, the attitude of many was awful. Niall Quinn was banging on about the young team, but the fact is they are not that young now and cannot be used as an excuse. Stoke played far better football than us, we do find it difficult to keep possession of the ball.

Pity because they played really well against Chelsea, I thought that would set them up for the rest of the season.
Football.   

Indeed Jak, still need a few more points to be safe and the confidence is so brittle when something goes wrong they seem to implode and dont have a leader other than Vlaar

And now you've lost Benteke for the next 6 months. Bad back injury apparently, from carrying the Villa for the last two seasons.

We're doing more than flirting with League One, Jak. We're virtually fingering it.

I'm not bitter at all though. I prefer the motto 'Feck the dirty viler pigs', but each to his own and all that.

Currently we are one of the worst teams in the league, cant see where the next point is coming from. The football is dire and have to say I have lost faith with the manager, but Mr Lerner needs to come out and say what he wants from the club, try to sell up or just muddle along. Lets be honest, we are not going to be the most attractive club for someone to buy. Knocking the vodkas back before MOTD

As an independent, it's difficult to see what the plan is at Villa.
