Just seen this posted elsewhere, am sure some of you will remember the team coming out to that music, certainly brought back some great memories

Was that done by Les Dawson?

Who is Les Dawson, he must have been before my time. Was he a musician then Jak?

He was, primarily, a scrabble player but also doubled as a penist.

I well remember that - Tony Butler also used it for his phone in show

It was recorded by "Hurricane" Smith - who was in fact Norman Smith who worked as a producer on many of the Beatles recordings - he died about a year ago
