Franco needs someone running off him, he's a very intelligent player but can't play upfront on his own.

Also, he's 6'2 so hardly short.

I really really like Franco, but this 4-3-3/4-5-1 Zola insists on playing just isn't working with him. 442, Franco and Zavon upfront worked brilliantly against Villa and Everton. And Stanislas on the left is just a joke.

It didn't work all that brilliantly v Everton, TBH.....
I'm not entirely convinced yet about Hines and Stanislas, either.

We played well against Everton, our finishing was just shocking.

Hines I'm not convinced about, but Stanislas has got tons of potential. Just not on the left wing. He's got 6 goals after about 20 games for us, he's no mug that's for sure.

IMO our midfield is top notch when fully fit. Our main problem is how awful we are in the final third without Cole. Diamanti can unlock a defense, but for some reason Zola likes him playing on the right wing.
