Omid Djalili
I´m probably way behind the game herte because I´m only know seeing this clown for the first time on what they now call BBC Entertainment
This is the worst example of what is wrong with Britain - in an attempt to appear multi cultural they allow this talentless tosser air time on a channel paid for by peoples taxes!
This is not a racist rant - but someone seeing through this shyte and saying that this guy is and never will be clever or witty - its just embarassingly shyte
FFS - we are the country that spurned Python, Not the Nine O´Clock News, The Young Ones etc etc
We should always look to give the best all the space necessary - but to lower standards just to pamper to "diversity" is rank
It would be impossible to imagine that a british comedian with such banality would ever get a pilot show let alone a series that is then shown all over Europe to embarass us....

Sign of the times maybe Lion.
One of the things that made Python special was the fact is was looked down upon by the establishment.
Now there is no establishment, can't be or there wouldn't be such a thing as Simon Cowell

Re: Omid Djalili
Being picky, I think we SPAWNED Python et al.....
But you're right - I think he was a token nod to other cultures. But he's old news here - think he had a rant at some stage that spelt the end of his show. I'm sure though, that banality isn't a 21st century phenomenon. There must have been dozens of poor quality comedy shows over the years that we've mercifully forgotten. Also, humour is like music isn't it? Our tastes differ.
PS I think he's shit too.
