I stayed the night in Rotterdam - flew back to Heathrow the following day after a train journey to Amsterdam

What a night - ridiculously hot for Holland

I remember sitting beside a little river in the afternoon having lots of beer and there being a very jovial atmosphere. It was certainly brilliant weather.

The best bit was that after all the trouble in Brussels at the semi all the papers were building up about all the aggro that was bound to happen - but afterwards in the main square in Rotterdam Villa and Bayern fans were all drinking together with no hint of a problem
