First leg tonight, obviously that's assuming it doesn't get snowed off.A score draw represents a good result but i'm going for a 2-1 Villa win.Gabby and Dunne to net for the Villa boys

I go for a 2-0 win, with Gabby and Ashley Young scoring. We tend to do well up there, though we got bear 2-1 earlier in the season. Nice big pitch seems to suit us and will catch them on the break.

just phoned villa park, they reckon it will be confirmed in the next hour or so if the game goes ahead or not, fecking annoying not knowing if i should head up there or not, as if its going ahead its going to take fecking ages to get there.

When we were in the LC semi with QPR in 77 the first leg in London was cancelled twice - I was already in London when the first cancellation was made along with hundreds of others who had set off early

The snow around here is now very deep,it has been snowing over night and is continueing now,so it can only get worse,big question does this mean that the first leg will now be at villa Park if it cant be arranged before that scheduled game?

I suspect that they won´t bother playing it and send Villa through to the final on a walk over

No, as in can't cope with a bit of weather. Although God knows what all that flat cap wearing does to their heads.

gutted that its been called off, although i am slightly glad that i dont have to drive all the way up there in this weather, the motorways would be a nightmare and it would probably take 4 times longer then it should, or worst.

I imagine they will re-schedule it for before the leg at villa park, the draw gave us the advantage of being at home first they cant change that, otherwise we might just have to pretend to be wussies like blackburn and postpone it

mainly London, although since I now go to the majority of matches on my own I get the coach alot more then I used to especially if its going to save me alot compared to petrol.

Severel of my mates who sometimes go with me all wanted to go to this game so i didnt buy a coach ticket as we planned to go up early and get completely smashed in the away pub and perhaps stay over, but none of them met the criteria to get tickets early enough and the match was sold out before they got tickets, i then enquired about the coach because of the weather and that to was already sold out so I will have to drive.

The game looks set to be played on thursday the 14th Jan now.

I don't think the weather forecast is much better for next week. This global warming is a bastard, isn't it?

Seem ridiculous that they cant play the game next Wednesday, it's because Man City are playing Blackburn on the Monday night on TV, a week that was meant for FA Cup reply's anyway so cant understand why it was allowed to be on that day. Hence Man U and Man City have to play the week after.
