Re: PL Fixture List
Are you expecting further improvement from your team this coming season Beds, or is it the normal fans 'We can win everything (perhaps)' ?

I really am expecting further improvements. I'm not going to pretend we're going to win everything in sight, but progress will be made. Zola and Clarke have really bedded in well now and this will be their first full season. Even the bank ownership isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I'll leave any daft boasts to others, as usual. There are a number of clubs jostling for places - Everton, Villa, Spurs, Man City, West Ham, Arsenal, Fulham......

I hope you're not suggesting that The Arsenal are going to be 'downwards-jostling' Beds. I could have accepted your opinion if you'd included Chelsea, Liverpool and ManU in the club list (although, seriously, The Spuds 'jostling' - well, it's just not on is it? 'Jibbering' perhaps, but jostling, no, I can't see it) but to suggest that Arsenal would somehow be removed downwards from the other three is just not, well realistic, is it?

I rose to the bait rather well - meanwhile, do you expect to have to 'jostle' with The Spuds this coming season? I'd have thought you'd have left them behind (assuming no further 'unforeseen circumstances' arrive) - I'd expect to see Everton, Villa and West Ham fighting for a top-five spot, with The Spuds fighting to get in the top ten.

Re: PL Fixture List
dunno beds, lets face it Arsenal was shitting them selves 3/4 through last season.
Another team is sure to challange again this season, arsenal might just be fighting with the rest of us

I wouldn't write old 'Arry off so easily. And what about Man City?
AV, I think Arsenal had a poor season last time out - I wouldn't necessarily expect them to repeat it, but we'll see.

Re: PL Fixture List
indeed they was poor while we was excellent for half the season.
But still, are they going to spend money to strengthen? Does Fabregas wan't to go to Barcelona?
Man City surely not finished spending, they have to deliver.
Another interesting season ahead

Re: PL Fixture List
Rumour from Alan Brazil on talksport this morning that we are playing Man City first game :)
There was apparently something on skynews the other day and it showed Arsenal's first 6 games and they were playing the Hammers first up. There were suggestions it was a practice run and went out in error.

Re: PL Fixture List
Another predictable season ahead.Top 4 will be the usual top 4.Everton,Villa,Man City and Spurs will compete for a place in the Europa cup that no one wants to be in.The three promoted teams will be of a group of 6 who will have a relegation battle all season and the rest will just make up the numbers.Thankyou Sky TV the premiership has become a bigger version of the SPL.

Morning Lutes!
Magoo, I read that article the other day. It sounds like a nightmare putting it all together.

Re: PL Fixture List
So West Ham, your first home game is the mighty Villa.
Don't worry though, our first Europa League fixture is on the 20th August so I'm sure our match on the 18th will be moved. Funny really considering the article about how the fixtures are decided, that they didn't pick that up

Our first game of the season is away to Wolves. Might try to get to that one.

Re: PL Fixture List
We're going to target the Midlands away fixtures this season, and possibly Hull. Easy to get to, and cheaper tickets than London.
