Odd one really, bout time he left Villa as he was only a reserve regular anyway, but I find it strange that Man City with all there money would want him as back up to Given?

Read this a while back, there were rumour Joe Hart may be going on loan to the noses. Can seeing him ending up with a chronic back condition

He was a good keeper, done well when called upon.

We've got to remember he's been here since Sorensen was in goal for us.

I think Taylor has wasted his career.I remember when he was coming through at Arsenal being tipped as Seaman's successor at both club and international level.I was expecting him to leave but for first team football in the Championship rather than Reserve team football again.Lack of ambition?

Odd move but never really good enough. I thought he might go to one of the lower prem teams and try and establish himself.

Yep at 28 he needs to go and actually play competative football. Look at Myhill who left Villa to go down a division or two and is now a 1st team goalie in the premierleague.
