I am sure it has. But not good emotional I would have thought. But at least you have survived to fight another day and with two games to spare.
Also rumours abound that Zola gets to keep his job.

Not sure I'd be happy about that... He's still tactically naive.

So I see!
David Gold visited the Supporters Club after the game on Saturday, too. I suspect a lot of things have been on hold till the Davids knew that we're safe from relegation. Hopefully, onwards and upwards now.

Well onwards anyway... you can go up the table as far as you like as long as you stay under the spuds...

I'm looking forward to a season of mid table mediocrity.

What do you think we need to do to improve Beds? Transfer wise I mean.

Get rid of Kovac, and I don't mind if Ilunga goes too, or Diamanti the show pony. Scott Parker would be a far better captain than Upson, and Faubert has had a good season.
As for transfers in, I can't think of names, but we need to be realistic. The thing is, we've got some decent players who haven't performed well for one reason or another this season. I'd be happy if most of them stayed, to be honest.
And then there's Zola. I really don't know what to think. He seems to stick with such a narrow formation, and he's on a huge salary. And Clarke - what does he do?

He has turned Upson from an average player into a crap one.

PD & DD have a lot of refinancing to do to achieve all this!

Achieve all what? I don't believe you read my post at all - I'm not talking about spending lots of money.

I never said we would. However, I'm still trying to work out what the "all that" is that you think I said we'd achieve.

ST only frozen for renewals until 30 June, then they will rise in price.

Following from the email:
First of all we would like sincerely to thank you for your support in what has been at times a tough season.
You have stood by us and it is thanks to you that we have been able to hold on to our key players and are able to invest in the team and its long term success. This has enabled our survival and that has been all that we have been focused on since our arrival in January. We can assure you we are now looking to the future and the shared passion and belief that has enabled us to turn around our season this year has strengthened us all. We take this new found belief into 2010/11.
With your help we can regroup in the summer. We guarantee that at every level from the owners, manager and staff this club is being led with passion by supporters for supporters and that our desire to succeed in 2010/11 is just as great as yours. We hope you will continue to support us by renewing your season ticket. We are focusing on our strongest players and looking to strengthen the squad in the summer. I can promise passion, commitment and moments you would not want to miss so I hope you will once again want to share everything that is West Ham United with us.
In our commitment to be open with you, our real investors, we have made no secret of the club’s financial predicament. Despite this and the need to raise funds we have honoured the club’s commitment to a price freeze for returning season ticket holders, subject to the necessity of reflecting the government's rise in VAT.
As a loyal existing season ticket holder we can guarantee this until your renewal date on 30th June 2010. Our desire to continue to strengthen the club means that there will be a further rise after this point but as an existing season ticket holder you can:
• Save up to £211 at least compared with match to match purchasing
• Save up to 20% on buying match to match for adults and up to a massive 75% on selected junior tickets
• Guarantee your seat in the stadium for every Barclays Premier League match
• Avoid the hassle of trying to get tickets for high profile fixtures
• Avoid match to match booking fees
• Access reduced coach travel
• Obtain priority away match tickets
• Get priority on your own seat for cup games at a reduced price
You have shown your commitment so far. Stand by us and we’ll stand by you. Thank you for sharing the same vision and dreams.
Re: Season ticket prices frozen
Was going to renew by then anyway. Wasn't that the deadline last year?

Aren't Spurs one of the most expensive in the league?
This season, it was around £585 for me and the missus, £295 for my daughter and £102 for my son.
'Kin hell....£1,567!

It was £570 this year (down from £615 in the 2008/2009 season) and it'll be the same apart from the 2.5% VAT increase. I know it's a lot by Villa standards, but I don't think it compares too badly with other London clubs.
