I would be very happy with Hangaland, however I think he could end up at Man City.

I think he will end up at Arsenal

Didnt arsenal just pay out a good amount for a new defender. Hopefully if true we might be in for him.

Yep, Arsenal signed that defender from Ajax for 10 million, Vermaelen or something like that, who was apparently playing for Ajax when we played them at Villa Park. I dont remember him but he must have looked shit because all of there defenders did.

As for Hangaland, he would definitely be my number 1 choice, I just think he could end up going elsewhere.

Yeh I don't remember there defence causing our forwards to many problems and we could have scored a couple more goals, same could be said for Arsenals defence in our two games last season though.

Would certainly like to see him at VP, looked a very good player last season and the dominant centre half we are missing since Laursen has retired. Seems to be a few quotes in the papers, but thats nothing new.

He'd be my top choice.However, according to the Villa site today the links are Zaki,Crouch and Veloso.It'd be nice to hear we'd made a bid for someone, fecking anyone!

We have made a £5 million bid for Bramble, was that nice to hear?

Zaki was an old one from back in January, Crouch there is no chance and having a clue on Veloso, I think we will be bidding for Hangaland, whether we can get him or not is a different mater.

I know Lion said that Veloso is a fine player, not sure I would want to be spending £11m on Zaki. As for Crouch, makes me wonder if MON is seriously considering getting rid of Carew, would be pist off if that happened. Anyway, its all gossip and probably wont be any signings till 31 August.

Veloso is the most technically gifted player in the Portuguese league - would mean a totally different game plan if we signed him though - he wants to be the total playmaker

Lets hope we start getting in some quality soon.. a few from hangeland defour veloso bentley naughton tuncay berg keane would be great..

We need specialist advice from Luton on that one - he´s used to paying way over the odds for Love

Martins would be ok, I would prefer to sign Tuncay though as a forth striker.

As for Wanger Love, when he played for CSKA at Villa Park, he was superb in the first, half, the didn't give a shit in the second half, and his performence was pretty much the same in the away leg. So I have serious doubts over his motivation.

I don't know people keep shouting Vagner Love, he's a really good player but he's not great. Yes, he played good aganist US, in that one game we sent the reserves out, but I really doubt if people have seen him play domestically.

It was nice to see being linked to Hanglande, Berg, Crouch, and Veloso today.

Would be amazing if they all signed!
