Been like it 95% of the game Jay, we look as dogged and commited as ever today. Petrov is like a feckin wildman, never seen him so hyped up throughout. Young Albrighton worked his butt off today a real learning curve which he did outstandingly, covered more grass than any player today.
My MOTM had to be Steve Collins, back to the collossus we signed this time last year, absolute ugly defending at its best.

Very pleased with the 3 points and boy did they work for that. I still hope Randy saw today the lack of creative talent thats missing from this side. Everton had a huge % of possesion and we had lady luck bang with us today along with massive determination which was lacking the last 2 games.

Thankyou very much Kevin McDonald for the last few weeks, top man. Now lets get a big name manager in to shake up our team.

James Collins was great today, Dunne was looking a little clumsy at times as he was v Rapid in the week, Everton proper battered us and we stood firm...great goal for Luke Young...UTV !! now bringin a good new manager and we will be fine oh and try to sign a couple of grafters this week, and shift Heskey and Sidders out ..... seemed quiet at VP without the Rapid fans

All joking aside, Collins and L.Young were immense today.

Was a fantastic game, I have rarely seen a better game with only 1 goal in it, two very good teams really going for it. Have to say fair play to the lads today, considering the defence collapses of the last two matches every man was fighting for that win, they flung themselves at the ball to stop everton, very well deserved win.

4th, 6 points from two games, club in crises? I said everyone should really wait a while before panicing so much.

Oh and that ref was a joke, the amount of freekicks given to Everton for perfectly good challanges was ridiculous, makes the win even more pleasing.

In fairness to West Ham Ringo, you had to play a top 6 club on the opening day and man utd is always going to be rubbish, you had a bad result against Bolton, but really you lot should give it some time and wait until you get beaten regular by the Wigan and Blackpool lot before panic sets in.

The difference between this game and the Newcastle game was a better midfield and defence and the most important fact, Everton can't score for toffee at this time where as Newcastle did.
