VDV is EXACTLY the type of player ive been banging on about Villa getting.. A player i doubt Oneil could ever have got....

The guy runs the show in midfield.. if VDV was playing for us we wouldve won that game and would be a lot closer to 4th...

Ades, seems to have a great attitude to the game. However, Ashley Young seemed to do very well in that role again today, where we need some class is in the middle of the park

Lutes i even said on here after the world cup that VDV is not far off Sneijder who is worth 30M right now due to Inter winning champ lge..

Oneil did well for us but the reason he wont be manager of a top bracket European clb is the fact he doesnt have the nous to find players like that.. we are crying out for someone like that.. there arent many around but we def need to try and get one.. always rated him as a top player..

TBH not much point slagging of MON for not being able to make a signing like VDV, even Harry admitted that he had no intention of buying him and didn't even try he got a phone call from that Levi guy telling him he had bought him from Real Madrid and that was that.

Harry was chuffed with that... Oneil wouldve resigned...

I suspect that was 'Arry being a bit disingenuous there. I don't believe for a moment it happened that way.
