Re: Malcolm Allison RIP
Bit of a character was Allison. Bobby Moore said Allison was his idol when he was learning the game at West Ham and his first game in the First Division meant that Allison was overlooked, suffering from TB. He later developed to be a successful manager and a bit of a Jack-the-Lad but he certainly came across as a likeable bloke, bit of a rascal - 'Arry Redknap with jutzpa! RIP Malcolm.

Remember him being in charge of Crystal Palace with the likes of Sansom and Hilaire, certainly loved the limelight RIP

We had a minute's applause for him at Upton Park yesterday. As they did at Palace last week, but unfortunately they were playing Millwall and their "fans" sang throughout the minute and tried to rip their way through the netting separating them from the home fans.
