Some people just never lose that instinct... scores soooo many of his goals from tap in range that most of us could put away.. but it sno fluke to hve the movement and the instinct to keep getting into those positions again and again... Linekar was the same..

I've always detested the man - his horrible goal celebrations when all he's done is emerge from behind a goal-post to tap the ball over the line - but I've nowt but respect for his goal-scoring abilities. He's always been the same, whether he starts or comes off the bench, he's second to none at being in the right place at the right time. Total poison for defenders - an amazing career for such a skinny, wimpy-looking bloke!
