Auntie Elt & Leon Russell
"The Union". Not a bad listen for those old enough to remember Leon Russell from his "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" excesses with, amongst others Joe Cocker from way back when.
Some good tracks, "If It Wasn't For Bad", "Gone To Shiloh", "The Best Part Of The Day", "Eight Hundred Dollar Shoes" and "Monkey Suit" make it worthwhile - OK I had to play it a few times to get into it - I never thought I'd be buying an Elton John album again, but this one's worth it, if only for the nostalgia!

I'm so sorry Vince, there are those that fail to appreciate your undoubted talent.

He was on TV a couple of weeks ago, shown on a Neil Diamond retrospective. I'd managed to forget just how awful he really was.....
