On the other side, my dad said it's getting quite busy at Honeywell, the company just signed a contract with another airline...forgot who it was, I was watching cricket at the time.

But there were times last year when he said there was feck all to do at work sometimes.

The M.O.D cuts have started to hit by the looks of things and the civil side is worringly slow.I don't know how much longer they'll continue without making redundancies.Fecking hope not though, it's a great job

Thats exactly what happened to me and tbh I tried every thing in my powers to get the work in for my boss but in the end it just was not good enough.
He chose Alver the estonian over me but thats was down to many things according to my ex boss , i think that was just down to the fact he does not have time off sick and plus he runs around which gives my boss a big boner...

But in the long and short of it , i said to my boss before i left he was a tnuc for letting me go , but i think he was more pissed of because i got a lot of money out of him , union rules and all that...

The last time i gave it up was because my back was fecked and could'nt lift a thing properly for some 1 year to 18 months...but when i left that time i got feck all out of his firm...

Some people say i did good leaving...but hey when you have a house yr paying for bills coming in...that being home malarkie just does not count for shit ...I could go on, but then i would only send people into a state of depression

I watched their performance at Glasto last summer (on the tele sadly) and was buzzing my tits off.
