Critical match today where all 3 points are vital. As an attacking threat Im not concerned we should have enough to get goals, but we look like we are going to have to work with a very patched up defence with injuries throughout. I hope Makoun is put straight back into the centre, he will be raring to go after being out for the 3 match ban.
Wolves are going to be massively up for this I am just concerned whether GH can rally our lot as much as McCarthy will have his.

looks like Delph is playing left back again with Baker in the centre. Wolves look a decent team and will be tough game, but think we will have enough going forward to beat them

Toothless, gutless, wankers. I only watched the 2nd half so cant comment on the 1st. We lost pretty much every tackle, every 50/50 and every header. Didnt see the Wolves keeper have to make a save. This lot have`nt got the stomach for a relegation dogfight, where it seems the teams around us have.

Denied a blatant pen and hit the crossbar granted, but this is at home against Wolves.

the first half was worse if anything, i agree a toothless display, and like you i am not sure the players are up for the relegation fight, especially under houllier, if he hasn`t lost the dressing room he has certainly split it, we have the players to get out of trouble, not sure they will do it for houllier, is it too late in the season to sack him and get someone like jol in, who may get the players playing again?

Supposedly we dont play for 2 weeks, Id sack him today. I have never uttered or typed those words before now. We have a decent side, but watching GH and McAllister today sitting like two bellends while the Holte sing "you don`t know what your doing" the words "fecking clueless" come into mind.

Sid Cowans or KMac would be better in control of the last games we have for survival. Todays display was the turning point for me and a hell of a lot of others who have previously backed him. The team look like they couldnt give a toss, with captain fantastic Ashley Young being the leader in that group. If he`s playing for a move to a Top 4 team, he wants to step up because that was a crap.

agree with all the above, they truly was awful today. The teams around us and below us are fighting for there lives and picking up points, but there is no fight in our players, hard to see where points are going to come from now.

When you look at what we have left it looks bleak!

We may have more quality (which I believe we do) than all of the team down there with us, but that isnt worth a rub if you cant roll up your sleeves and battle.
Id swap a few of our so called "superstars" for some battlers at the moment cos our lot are powderpuff to say the least.
