Having a medical today, great signing for yous. Can see you walking the Championship with the squad you have. Best Championship squad ever to play in that league??

Nah their squad is overpaid, overrated and old. Best squad/team/manager was Fulhams promotion winning team.

Reading and Blackburn (under Dalglish) along with that Fulham side were IMO the best at that level over the past 20yrs.

Well if it's Bob Carew the decorator then i can't see him being much use.He's a better full back than he is a striker

I agree QB,but not the Blackburn team that got promoted under Dalglish, but the one that won promotion under Souness in 2002,players like Jansen,Dunn,Duff,it had lots of young good players in that side and for me they were the better side,the one promoted under dalglish just sneaked into the playoffs and beat Liecester at wembley,we had to buy big to compete in the Prem Shearer,Sherwood,Sutton,Battty,Flowers,Le Saux,Hendry,Ripley and others were all bought once we were in the Prem mate,btw the three teams that got promoted that season still remain the only three promoted together teams in the history of the prem to retain there prem spot,Us Bolton and Fulham came up that season.
It comes to something when a club like W ham is getting excited about signing Carew..

I see no sign of it in this thread by any of us.

He'd be a fantastic signing. The rest of us Hammers have been at work or enjoying a hard earned holiday Ringo.

I think he's a great signing.

If he is in the mood he will destroy Championship defenders.

He'll do well in the lower leagues.
