We need to get going today.
A disastrous start to the season.
Still without key players, injuries you can't do anything about but indiscipline you can.
Interesting day with new signings on display.
A good result is needed. Our season
starts here. Come on you Gunners!!!!!

What a complete knob head you REALLY are.
There you go slagging off a London team playing a foreign country to you.
Would you mind telling me how many times we have won at home this season?
People in glass houses etc.
All I am saying is at least let West Ham climb the table before slagging off a premier side.

Well for a start, chomp.
But why have you turned a pretty harmless comment into yet another chance to have a dig at West Ham? Before you go criticising others for not cheering on London teams, I'd suggest you start cheering on the one you claim to support. And Arsenal aren't playing a "foreign country", they're playing a team from a British city. Stop being such a jumped up hypocritical prick Ringo, it doesn't suit you.

I support my club, no problem.
At the moment, I would not dare slag off another London team ...Arsenal, Tottenham, .... or for that matter, QPR.
FFS, Let us at least win today against Pompey before we even think about taking the piss out of the premier league.

Not the kickstart your season needed. Although with Liverpool slipping up and Spurs not together yet Arsenal will have a chance at 4th if Wenger can sort this squad out. The ground lost to the Manchester teams is huge though.

Re: We need to get going today.
You London folk are a strange breed.
1,Why would anyone cheer on any club other than their own?
2,Why would that be more acceptable if that club are close geographically, surely this makes it worse?
3,If being a jumped up hypocritical prick doesn't suit Ringo, then what does?
Anyway from the highlights it looked like Arsenal were a side suffering a real lack of confidence. However a win and a clean sheet in the process has to be viewed as a massive positive following the last game. Absolutely top class save from Sczezney (Aka the Pole who's name i can't spell) to earn that clean sheet though and that won't hurt the lad's confidence.

1. Are you telling me that no Villan has ever cheered on a club that Birmingham are playing? Or cheered on any underdog team? Or had a chuckle at the Man City v Spurs or Man U v Arsenal results last week?
2. Feck nose.
3. Feck nose.
I'm not defending Eze, but there does seem to have been a bit of an overreaction here.

Hold on a mo, QB. A few Villa fans, notably Jay PA, climbed on the Man U train the other week.
Are they Londoners?
You have to look at the person dishing out that title to Ringo. Teapots and kettles and all that?

Re: We need to get going today.
We got the three points and that was what we needed. If we'd done it in style we'd all be super-confident - fact is there's work to be done. Comments :
1) We've got a good keeper, great attitude - likes to boss the defence. He lost a corner at the death but pulled off a great save early on.
2) AA looked the best he's been for a while, sharp and seemed to work well with Arteta (two footballing brains clicking there, I suspect). His goal was a gift but he was looking away too when the keeper rolled the ball out - his reaction in claiming the loose ball and finish, left-footed from a tight angle were top-notch.
3) RvP is going through a bad patch - he's doing the business for Holland but he's been off in recent Arsenal games, missing pens, not taking chances (he had four yesterday, nearest came when he hit the post). Perhaps Park will provide a touch of competition - it'll be interesting to see who's chosen for the CL match in Germany.
We should have scored more, starting with the early Arteta-made Ramsey chance but I'm happy with the three points - now let's get on!
A general comment - we're not playing at Highbury any longer and it was difficult yesterday to instantly relate to an Arsenal team containing two "strangers", then three (when Benayoun came on) - maybe I'm getting on a bit but that old Arsenal "family" thing has been stretched to breaking point in recent times.................

Criticise away, please. Snide comments do not constitute criticism. They are just a cheap shot, at which you are an expert. If you can't do better than that don't bother.

For someone who's happy to get a dig in at any club and any player at any opportunity, you don't do a brilliant job of getting what you give.
The first comment was a light-hearted poke, the kind of thing which flies around this board with every other comment. I apologise if you took it the wrong way.

Good, i'm not one to overreact,it was Ringo's moral high ground over Gonzo's light hearted prod at Arsenal which threw me.In the same week he refers to QPR as Queers people Reserves he's telling Gonz to get behind the Arsenal because they're a London side. You couldn't make it up
