Going to be a tough game, Blackpool are on a really good run of form and that Phillips kid is on fire.

Green, O'Brien, McCartney, Reid, Faye, Tomkins, Noble, Collison, Faubert, Vaz Te, Maynard
Revamped midfield and strike force, a bit forced but Big Sam seems to like Tomkins as a midfielder.

James Tomkins woo hoo! It sounds as though we've started brightly.

I'm only going by the OS commentary, but yes. Did Vaz te and Maynard play well against Southampton? I didn't see any of the game at all.

Vaz Te played well, but had a tendency to lose his footing. Maynard came on as sub late in the second half but looked bright.

I always like seeing Kevin Phillips score, think he's had a really superb career but not this time.

I wouldn't have minded him signing for us last summer. He's a really nice bloke too, I'm told.

Have you heard we tried to sign Torres? The Davids are ambitious, if nothing else..

Sullivan gave an interview to West Ham Online which is being quoted all over the place.
FFS, a red card for Rob Green. Unbefuckinglievable.

Big Sam doesn't name one, because of only being allowed 5 subs in the Football League. Lansbury does training with the keepers in case something like this happened.

No, Sam hasn't had a keeper on the subs bench for weeks now. Lansbury was the nominated sub tonight, squeaky bum time, eh? I reckon they might try to get Almunia back on loan.
I've got a rotten cold and feel like crap, at least this is keeping me awake......

3 in 3.
I was going to cry, but Gary O'Neill came on as sub for Faubert and made it 1-3 to us.
