Hull Vs Spurs

My step uncle (who is a spuds fan) came up for the game last night with an extra ticket so I volunteered to go & off we popped over the bridge to watch the game (at might I add a very reasonable £24, not bad for a premiership game)

Anyway it was pretty even to start off with until Spurs scored. For some reason Hull decided to let the likes of Defoe and Keane time to turn and run at the defence. A 2nd was added not long after and it looked like it might be a Rugby score. To be fair to Brown he made a good sub by taking Couisns off as he was rubbish & replaced him with Geovanni who made an immediate impact

Hull pulled 1 back then it was 1 way traffic. Hull had a perfectly good goal ruled out before Defoe got Spuds 3rd bang on half time. That killed the game and the 2nd half was just the Spuds show as Hull still allowed Keane & Defoe to turn.

IMO Turner isnt worth £12m, he's a good average Premiership CB but thats it. Hull need another CM & an out & out striker or else there going to end up getting............ :bottom: every game!

I'm hoping Spurs have peaked for the season.....

Part of this area has a fair amount of spuds fans and I am having to put up with what they are going to do to us on Sunday now they are in their rightful place at the top of the league.

I am hoping that they are over confident and come unstuck but realistically I think it will be a draw.

I'm hoping we open a can of Spurs whuparse.

They're (as my Scots mate says) 'good value' Spuds, aren't they? That's what I like most about them, they truly believe that cos they had a good team in 1960 they are somehow entitled to a place at the top table forever. Still, let'em enjoy themselves for a bit - 'Top of the League' after two games, yup, that's champions style. Hammers - do your duty.

well a good gloat is probably the order of the day if we beat you sunday... its not often you see us topping the table... even if it is just two games in...

I will do if we beat Wet Spam.... we just need to stay away from the lasagne first though

I think this just carries on from last season when 'arry turned up. We were pretty good second half of the season
