Stoke game..
We are near enough safe now.. Should let the kids play today.. hope Gardner Bannan Weimenn Albrighton Lichaj all start today and we try and attack Stoke not the usual cautious rubbish..
Re: Stoke game..
I'm to hungover to get out of bed to go, so I have exchanged my season ticket for someone to get me fish and chips on there way over here to get my st card

Stunning strike by Wiemmen, I always said when everyone was on about delfuenso who is shit that he was the real talented forward in the academy, beauty of a strike.

Yup.
Conceed at a set piece again.
Thats 14 draws this season. 7 wins and 11 losses.

Re: Stoke game..
Predictable result.. Kids show glimpses of what we can expect but same old story under Mctwat.. Sit back and concede..
We can't defend set pieces.. All season.. The only thing you'd expect from Dunne and Collins is to at least be decent at that.. There shite n so is the manager.. Hope all three are gone in the summer..

Re: Stoke game..
You'd have taken a draw before they kicked off. Tough team to beat, Stoke.

Re: Stoke game..
Been a problem for Villa for years sitting back when in the lead, just in the past we had the likes of Downing and Young to help release the presure on the break.

Stoke are a horrible team. Not a game for youngsters, i'd say.

Yep. Fecking depressing to watch other than the goal though. 30100 attendance was announced but it didn't look close to that to me. Lots of work to do, probably without much money. Next season will be tough too.

I think they include season ticket holders in that.. still doubt that 5,000 season ticket holders never turned up.. a few might have not..
Re: Stoke game..
I didn't turn up.
I would have thought with 20k season ticket holders plus Stoke fans, walk up it would just be 30k. Will be a lot of games next season when we don't get that many.

I didn't turn up either, they are lucky i'm renewing for next season, although I'm switching from my current seat to one of the cheap ones on the wing, saves me £230

Re: Stoke game..
Lots missing from the Holte End, Stoke took less than half of their allocation, they were only in the upper section. Big gaps in the North upper wings and Doug Ellis. I was in the Trinity and there was a lot of seats up the back.

See what the Tories have done for you. You were once foot loose and fancy free. Now you're counting the shekels.

I would have thought you would have saved your bi-annual trip to Villa Park for the Sunderland game so you could give MON some grief.
