That Sepp Blatter is a genius, eh? D'you see what he's proposing now? Goal-line technology! Wow, what a great idea and who'd have thought of it, eh? Old Sepp's The Daddy, eh? Never mind your Plattini with his additional referee assistants, no, Seppy-Boy goes straight to the crux of the matter - "We must have goal-line technology" - he's an effin revolutionary is Our Sepp! So advanced in his thinking, it's amazing. Whatever next?

Apparently Platini said the other day no way would 5 officials get a major decision wrong Shocked

Funny how Blatter makes his point the day after England gained from such a poor decision

Last night proved that the naked eye can't spot those type of incidents. White ball, white posts, white net and Terry's white boots. To give a goal the official had to be 100% certain and at speed with the factors above listed it was nigh on impossible.

They also missed the offside for that non goal....

Blatter is just so anti English that he's not even trying to hide it any more

Well done Mark. None of the commentators could tell until they saw the replay. To give a goal the official has to be absolutely 100% certain and therefore he couldn't give it. Remember this was the Ukraine at home in front of a partisan crowd. It would've been the easy option to give the goal.

not well done, but it's quite obvious even to stevie wonder when terry hooked his size tens around it it's obvious it's over the line

So you could honestly say that when you first saw it in real time you were 100% sure the entire ball had crossed the line, no doubt whatsoever? I think you're tellling porkies

I have to say when I saw it I thought it was in ans that was from the difficult camera angle... how the official who was 10feet away missed it is beyond me...

still it was nice to be on the better side of a mistake for a change

I thought it might be but i wouldn't have staked anything on it being definite. Very different to Lampard v Germany where there was no doubt whatsoever. For me it was the perfect example of why technology is needed. It makes the difference between " it looked in" to "it was in"

It you say so.... I never actually said that you were wanking over the keyboard... They often just get sticky from high useage.... But I suppose your method will too
