RvP..
Talk Sport are saying he might be on verge of signing for Untied..
A massive coup that could be for United.. also says a lot about how far Arsenal have fallen since the invincibles..

Talksport also said today that James Milner will be a Sunderland player by the end of the week.
They are full of shit, guess they could be right sometimes.

Wherever RvP ends up I'm not sure how his transfer can be related to The Arsenal having "fallen since the invincibles". Clearly Arsenal teams of late have not been as good as the 2003-2004 team but, then again it would be pretty difficult to imagine any team good enough to repeat their record. If you're saying the fact that RvP might end up at ManU is indicative of Arsenal's current weakness may I remind you that Vieira was very close to moving to Old Trafford back then - it's hardly a surprise that the top teams come sniffing around when they think they can nick a good player.
We've allowed players to join ManU in the past (Herd, Graham, Stapleton) and then again we've discouraged it (Vieira). If RvP joins ManU it's cos we're OK with it - I'd prefer he went to Juventus but that's cos I'm reluctant to seeing him prancing around in an ugly orangey-red shirt. Right now I'd say we're on the right track - not that "invincible" is a target - in terms of the quality of players we have in the squad, with or without RvP.

Re: RvP..
Its like Henry moving to Man U back then.. would have no chance of happening..
Or Rooney moving to Arsenal.. Aguerro moving to Arsenal.. neither have any chance at all of happening..
RvP moving to Man U ( if it happens ) is def a sign of Arsenals weakness.. you have to be completely if you wouldn't see it that way.. Your star man going to another rival because he feels he has a better chance of winning something..

Oh come on, it's hardly a first, is it! A player has a good season and all of a sudden he sees the £££££££ - it's apparently happening to Song too.
With all due respect RvP is not the equivalent of Henry. Thierry Henry developed, at Arsenal to become one of the truly greats - he also beat Ian Wright's goal-scoring record. RvP has developed, at Arsenal to having one very good, injury-free season and scoring some great goals, but that's it, so far. One very good season.
RvP (and Song, for that matter) could be on the way to the kind of moves that Petit made, that Overmars made, that Hleb made, that Flamini made - they all reached a point where they thought they could do better and they didn't. Still, good luck - miss them we might (have) but who really wants a player who thinks he'll be better-off elsewhere (OK, he will be "better-off" financially but football-wise, not necessarily)?

Re: RvP..
A coup for Man U no doubt but not the right place for RvP IMO. Not sure he'll win much more there than he has at Arsenal. Should've gone to City or over to Italy.
