A potentially catastrophic bidding war between him and Usmanov will follow on from the disaster that is non Champions League qualification and the sacking of Wenger for yet another trophy-less season. I've been warning gooners for years but they just never listen.

Sometimes you can speak with untypical wisdom, Luton. This is one of those rare occasions

Kroenke buys some more shares. He's very close now, is he the preferred Arsenal owner of the average gooner?

Go on enlighten me... how do you get that scenario from a bloke buying more shares. Even if there is a bidding war it wont affect them on the pitch....

Its a hypothetical example used to torture our friendly gooners.

They have their own torture.... They seem to think they a entitled to a trophy each season and then old mother hubbard rolled up 4 years ago.... I dont think She has gone as yet either.
Its all down to paying for a new stadium me thinks no money to buy players to suplement and help their youngsters..

We've had more than our fair share of success in the last few years. It's funny how the supporters of sides who fail year in year out, are so concerned for the well being of us Gunners. Touching isn't it.

It surely is Brother jak and it won't change as long as we're up there with the best, a very comfortable and reassuring position I'd say.

Re: Kroenke increases Arsenal stake
What's interesting is the spin that journalists are trying so hard to put on the developments since Silent Stan reached his 60-odd percent shareholding.
First it was - "Will Kroenke do the same as the Glazers and lump Arsenal with the interest charges of purchasing all those shares? He's said he won't but that doeasn't mean it won't happen!"
Now it's - "Will Kroenke help himself to the money in Arsenal's kitty as management dividends - he's able to now and that means that all the work that Wenger has done in terms of saving Arsenal's cash will be wasted and the fans will be mad?!"
Oh yes and not forgetting "Arsenal fans don't trust Kroenke, rejecting his bid to buy them out".
The facts are that Kroenke has been working with the Arsenal board these past couple of years - he was a champion of allowing the Arsenal Supporters Trust to purchase shares in the club so that they would have a voice in the running of the club (18,000 shareholders are apparently represented) - he has stated that the way AFC is run is the perfect model for a sports business and that he has no intention of burdening the club with debt.
Now, I know business and I know anything might happen but couldn't it be that this bloke is relatively honest (he hasn't run his USA sports franchises into the ground with debts) and actually likes the way AFC is run - just as AFC are being cited as the perfect way to run a football club by UEFA? No, your journo's just love to dish the dirt - hence the titles of some of the articles I've seen - "Arsenal fans reject Kroenke" being typical.

I happen to be a very sensitive, emotional person, easily upset. Your cheap jibes take their toll you know.
Would I EVER mention any of your many physical failings? NO!!!
Just spare a thought for the feelings of others. Be a kindly person and you might go to heaven.
Second thoughts, I don't want you caddying for me, so hurt me as much as you like.
