Excellent performance.
It wasn't the score (we should have had a few more TBH) it was the way the lads performed yesterday that has given me hope for a successful season. It had the feeling of an end-of-season game with everyone playing their part. I just hope this wasn't a one-off from Theo. His pace, control and, above all movement was top-notch and he looked something like the player I was expecting to see a few years back when I watched an England U21 match and decided he was going to be a specialist in the Thierry Henry mould. Yesterday he was that specialist - keep it up Theo.
Everyone looked good (with occasional lapses from Diaby although he took his goal brilliantly and fed Theo for one) but a stand-out player was Tomas Rosicky (yes, it's true jak) - he really looked the business. Wonders will never cease - perhaps (and I truly hope) it's all, finally coming together!

Re: Excellent performance.
I agree with all you say jpr except that I will only change my opinion of Rosicky when I see him perform when our backs are against the wall against one of the better PL sides. Encouraging start though.jpr60 wrote:It wasn't the score (we should have had a few more TBH) it was the way the lads performed yesterday that has given me hope for a successful season.
