Looks like Houllier is under pressure from the top over his comments the other night and fecking rightly so. Reckon a bad result at the weekend and he is a goner. Im bloody worried as have bet with best mate who is a baggies fan on each game and normally feel quite confident of winning. Could be more money down the drain

As much as i want him sacked i don't want a bad result this weekend.Everyone is saying that we've got to get teh full 6 points from West Brom and Wigan, but we don't have a great record against Wigan either, never even beat them at home.I've got to question Houllier's desire for the job.whether it's his age i don't know, but he should be ashamed of his conduct on Monday night.Wouldn't be surprised to hear he'd done the official Anfield tour

What does that tour entail, nicking peoples trainers off them and hubcaps.
Saw on some other website rumour is he is refusing to play Cuellar, must be something up as Collins and Dunne are playing awful at the minute. He is letting the club down if he is not choosing his best team.

That's bollocks, just people making stuff up. I saw the same thing you did, Houllier said today that Cueller was just fit last week and made out like he wasn't fit enough to start, just make the bench. A one legged Ceuller would be better than anyone playing in our defence at the moment.
To be honest, I don't really give a shite about the Liverpool thing and what he said, all I want is 6/4 points from these next two games and I want Cueller back in the team, I don't give a shit who it's in place off, at the moment it could be for any of the back four.

How many of the Villa fans on this board were actually against MON? Most of us were more than happy with the job he was doing.
It's like saying all West Ham fans are complete twats just because you are.

Last season on the first day of the season Wigan beat you 2-0 and the lot of you were all over MON like a vulture saying he couldn't take you any further.

Were they bollocks, Lion would have been but that would have been about it. The press made a big issue of the fact that the team was booed off at half time because MON had a moan about it. But you can be pretty sure that anywhere in the country, a team that is 2-0 down to Wigan at half time after playing shite, there will be a few booes ring out round the ground. Just MON got very precious about it so the press go hold of it and match of the day decided to discuss it, saying what a joke it was. Next week, we played Liverpool at Anfield and were beating them at half time, team booed off, no mention of it in the press because their manager didn't mention it.
