I thought he was going to Bolton, good move for Albion, but is he a forward or left sided player?

Vela has undoubted potential. It's his commitment that is in doubt, I think.
He's a bit of a party animal.
Encouraging to see that he's staying in the PL, it gives him a chance to prove himself.
It will certainly decide his future with The Arsenal.

I think he'd consider himself a striker. Whether he's robust enough to do that job in the PL, time will tell.

Carlos Vela - he's a player we've been waiting for something to happen to for a while now. He's clearly got the technical and physical ability, he's been known to score some nice goals but............I dunno, is it character, commitment or what, something's been missing. Rumour has it he likes his life in London - now he's probably got this one last chance to show what he can do in English football. If he makes it with WBA he's probably got an Arsenal future, if not there's a few youngsters waiting in the wings.
