The OPLC are saying this is speculation at the moment.

Re: Byebye Upton Park
maybe they have plans for retractable seats to come out over the running track when football is being played.
This has been done in both outdoor and indoor venues so isnt anything new

It's just occurred to me. If this is true, that's twice we've beaten Spurs this year.

Re: Byebye Upton Park
Paolo is comparing it to Lazio's stadium, which he reckons still has a fantastic atmosphere despite the track. God has spoken.

But it's true.......
Tell me, on what grounds is Levy planning to take action against the OPLC if the decision doesn't go his way? And Lord Sugar's up on his hind legs parping on about it too.

OH I don't know.. I really don't think we want to move there to be honest. I would suspect the only real reason it the communications that will feed the area.
It will piss a lot of the supporters off if we move there. But hey what do I know.
I would suspect that if the Spud case has not been considered properly, which is entirely possible. Then Levy will probably waste more time in the courts.
BUt at the end of the day we have the permission to increase the capacity at WHL. But there is little provision by the council to increase the access to the area.

Levy has said the WHL development is dead in the water. Too expensive.

£500m stadium, 60000 capacity less than half full, hosting championship football. WHAT A LEGACY!
