ManU v Arsenal
These two teams are going to have a big say about where the top prizes are going this season.
In the league both teams would be champions if they won their respective remaining games (10 for ManU, 11 for Arsenal). It might happen for one, it cannot happen for both since Arsenal play ManU at The Grove in April. I hope both teams are still in the reckoning come that match cos that's gonna be a big'un!
Then there's the FA Cup QF a week on Saturday, at Old Trafford. I've got a theory that has often been proved right down the years (not always, mind) that the team that wins the cup-tie loses the league match - we'll have to wait and see (that actually worked in the League Cup this year, we beat Birmingham in the league and lost in the cup).
Then there's the little matter of the Champions League.......................

Interesting Theory.
Just one problem, We play Stoke on Sunday in the league then play Stoke 6 days later on Saturday in the FA Cup.
Got any ideas of the outcome?

My first thought is always "We beat'em in the league, they beat us in the cup". It's happened so many times (to Arsenal) that it's something that always occurs to me.
Here's a thought for your up-coming Stoke encounters - would you rather the 3 points in the league or the win in the cup? That's for you to decide.
Just as an aside, I thought that Leyton Orient played better football than Stoke City.

So, if my theory is correct, you choose. You'd rather have the 3 points (to maintain your fight against relegation) or win with the aim of success in the FA Cup - you can't have both!

I would take the 3 points.
Yes Beds, I got them the wrong way round, I can live with that.

Hopefully we will have both (I'll be at both, anyway!) - we drew v them at their gaff when we were at our shittest in September, and knocked them out of the Carling Cup. But if I had to choose one, it'd have to be the league game.

So ManU, it's come to this!
You or us for the FA Cup, you or us for the Premier League title.
It's gonna be tough between now and the end of the season!

There are a couple more other teams that may interrupt both those teams FA Cup plans.

Wow....
The way You and Manure are playing at present I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelscum and Man City catch you.
In the Cup I think everyone is in with a shout as it is the Cup and strange things do happen...

Shut it Tilts you effin old queen!
We're playing ManU this weekend, one of us is going down.
We're playing ManU 1st May which could well be the title decider, one of us is going down.
It's not arrogance it's facts - I'm not saying either ManU or Arsenal will win the cup but it's us who are doing battle this coming weekend. I do rather think that it's ManU or Arsenal who will take the title though!

Right. There's always been a ManU-Arsenal thing and whether it's my '60's view - "How will we do against ManU (with Law/Best/Charlton etc)" or today's "It's them or us" - it's gonna be special. Crazy really, both teams at the top of the league and yet under pressure - it'll be interesting to see how it develops between now and May.
My FA Cup theory - "win in the league, lose in the cup" - might work either way this coming Saturday. We lost to you in the league at Old Trafford, so do we win in the cup? On the other hand whoever wins this weekend might come a cropper in the "title decider" (I'm just hoping we're both in with a shout come 1st May). Hoping it'll be a great end to the season (and we get to win summat)!!!!!!!!

That's not how myself and others read your post.
It looked like typical Gooner arrogance in saying that whoever wins out of Arsenal and Man U would go on to win the FA Cup.
Apologies if that was not the case.
