Apparently Wenger's just been spotted at Exeter services tying up a deal to get Frank McLintock on a one month rolling contract.

You couldn't make it up, could you? I'd heard that Mad Jens was keeping in shape at The Arsenal training ground since stopping football - it seems he's kept himself in good condition (he always was amazingly supple, the warm-up routines he used to perform pre-match) and now he'll step up to the bench in case we run out of keepers completely. You've got to feel for Almunia - the poor bugger's managed to claw his way back into the no.1 keeper spot due to bizarre injuries sustained by the three preferred keepers and now he'll probably have his old enemy looking over his shoulder again!
