Yep, shame he is going as he has played well this season. Obviously after to much money. He is certainly replaceable though.

Yes he had a good campaign, especially in the last few games where he performed very well in midfield, shame that he has obviously decided that one of the apparent (champions League) teams in europe is a better destination.

So have we a replacement lined up or is it time for Delph to step up?

That Forrester was ment to be some kind of wonderkid as well and did look good when I watched him play in the reserves, not heard much of him for a while though.

Sad to see Reo go, i would of offerd him a new contract and gave him decent wages as he's 1 of those players who gives his all everygame. He's been linked with a few Italian clubs so i reckon he'll end up in Serie A. Time for Makoun to step up and show us what hes capable of now.

From what Houllier was quoted as saying a while ago, NRC was after £50k a week plus. You get the impression that his agent is a complete tosser and just after everything he can get. To be fair to NRC though, he hasn't had the best of times at the Villa, and if Houllier goes the next manager might not want to us him anyway.

Sorry to see NRC go, but after reading his comments recently that he was an attacking box to box player, think it is probably for the best. His excellent performances have been in more of a holding role. Good luck to him playing in champions league for european club, but considering he was homesick in Brum, god only knows what he will be like in somewhere like Turkey. His agent does appear a cock

Not bothered in the least about losing NRC, massive waste of cash and a very limited player. Definitely need to spend in the midfield but we knew that anyway.

He was very good for us, gave his all, just has a stupid idea that he can go to an even 'bigger' club then ours. I think we definitely offered him a contract but him/his agent declined.

Must admit I was surprised when I heard a little while back that Forrester was going as thought he was highly thought of and there is talk of Ajax being interested in him after the Hong Kong tournament

NRC is a disappointing loss but the others were either past their best or not up to it.I am surprised by that Forrester though.Didn't we get him from Watford at the same sort of time we signed Young? The thing that is concerning me though is players moving away before an announcement on the managerial front.Looks like it's another season of Kermit

According to BBC NRC has agreed personnel terms with Bolton. Looks like his agent might have been stretching the truth a little with all that bollocks that champions league clubs across europe was interested in him, obviously just trying to increase his wage more then we was willing to pay.

If he goes to Bolton I'd say he's found his level. He's a very mid table player, I don't know whatever made him think he was anything other that that. No wonder he stayed at Villa picking up some nice bunce but only playing a fraction of the games, that was the pinnacle of his career.
