True, but it's a free transfer and a chance for Harry to get a kick back.

Matt Kendrick from the Evening Mail says we aren't interested, Villa basically feed him info so you can be pretty sure that's correct.

I cant see anything happening to be honest... There is nothing in the press where I would have thought there would be loads of rubbish printed about it....

Meanwhile.... Barton wants to go to Arsenil

Yes.. read that.. also said we have no interest in DJ Campbell and Hutton..

A while ago i thought we would spend at least 30M in this window.. a few of you lot said 18-20M.. the way things are going would bloody be happy with that being true.. seems like we really have no more money left for transfers..

Seems to me that there are only a couple of teams who do have serious money to spend.... Even Barca are having trouble getting the money together to buy Fabregas...

We did spend near on 30 million last transfer window on players, and that's not including their wages etc.

I don't think Lerner has lost interest, just balancing the books before the financial fair play comes in, which we have to do.

We would spend money if we could get rid of players of the wage bill, but we cant so we have to work with what we have. Look at Spurs, they haven't been able to sign anyone because they can't get players of the wages.

We have got rid of a fair few players in the last 12months.. lot of dross off the books.. could do with Beye and Heskey being shifted.. Cuellar looks like he is off too.. i think we would get rid of Dunne or Collins if someone would take one off us and bring in a new CB who starts..

Why do you suppose there's nothing about it in the media? Or about Storrie & Wossisname's trial, which has probably concluded by now?
