If you can disrupt one of your CL competitors in the process of buying their best player why wouldn't you...

They need to let him go IMO, no way will he perform this season and will you fans be happy seeing him wearing the captains armband?

No CB no CM no LB coming in yet.. and that's to get yourselves to a decent standard.. let alone then going out and buying that key signing that can push you on to the title..

Hands up those who think Fabregas is good enough to walk straight into that Barcelona side.Not me.It would be everyone's interest for the clubs to do a deal which sees Fabregas move to Barcelona next summer.Class act that he is, he isn't on the same level as Xavi or Iniesta,yet.

He's better than Busquets though. Guardiola has already said he will fit Cesc into his team, so yes he would walk into it.

I don't see why we didn't say, he's under contract till 2015, if you want him it's 40M by the 1st August or there's no deal.
They should have explained the same to Fabregas. Then this charade would have ended one way or another.
Why should Barcelona expect to buy a world class player on the cheap.

And anyone who thinks that our cb Samba is going to do a job for Arsenal is going to be disapointed,he may just be ok for Spurs (as he is the size that Harry likes) but he couldnt play the Arsen way to save his life,Arsenal without Fab are not going to threaten anyone in the top 4 or even top 6.

I actually reckon we're already at a "decent standard" - top four every year is pretty decent by anyone's standards!
It's all very well saying go out and buy someone - a) who is that mystic someone"? b) it's not a given that buying "the best" players necessarily works, it's a question of how the team plays and reacts to one-another. We've got a pretty good team profile already but we're clearly lacking (IMO) aggresivity in a general sense (RvP, Sagna, Koscielny and Vermaelen excluded) and perhaps the player that makes the difference. Fabregas, Nasri and Arshavin all have the capability to be "the player" but the first two are away so we're looking at a replacement - now, where is he?

CB... Cahill.. Jageilka.. Mexes.. Samba

LB.. Enrique.. Baines.. Taeiwo..

CM.. Parker.. Diarra.. Sissoko ( not the rubbish Liverpool one )

Three players there would have you competing for title.

Then a marquee signing like Aguerro was or Matta who's still available..

The problem is you lot haven't brought the basic players needed which would've kept u in title race n won trophies in last few seasons.. Now it's asking too much to get three players n a marquee signing.
