Big week.........

Started off well enough - beating Bolton 3-0 - should have scored more but three points were vital.
Next up, Olympiacos at The Grove in the CL - another must-win - followed by Tottingham at their place.
We win three matches on the trot I'm happy, we lose either of the next two we're still in the mire - a lot of challenges for Arsene and his team!

A decent result and a step in the right direction.
I'd have liked a few more games before facing the Spuds, to settle the new signings.

Scrambled a win against the Greek champions, now it's wait-and-see-who's-fit-to-play at Tottingham on Sunday.
It's been a while since we've had to face our North London neighbours with any sense of trepidation - I tust the new players will recognise the importance of his match, I fancy Arteta will be up for it!

Sorry gentlemen, but I see this game as a draw.
Think about it, coming away from that place with a point is not really a bad result at this time of the season.

One more thing.. Until Sunday the weather here is as good, if not better than it was in April... fitness and stamina will be a factor this weekend.

Greek champions, lol......

I think this match says it all - the least passionate (dirty/physical) game between the two teams I've seen in a long time. Neither team much good - lacking serious quality players. Yes, we deserved a point but really, does it matter? Have to accept that this Arsenal team isn't going to excite anyone for a while - even if/when we get the likes of Wilshere and Vermaelen back - a sad day in the life!

The coming of the football mercenary has ruined games like this, they just don't know what these matches mean to the real fans. Plus another weekend where match officials have had too much influence on results.
