Good job he missed the U 21 tournament or he wouldn't have been able to get that much more useful pre season tour in

I read somewhere that he had a hairline fracture that was expected to heal during the summer break, he's been wearing a protective boot to encourage said healing, it hasn't healed so now he's had a screw put in - hence the long wait for him to be fit. It never rains, eh?

Would it be wrong to state that the Arsenal players have all been 'screwed' this season ?

Back in march. Couple of months to find form and 1 rested, fresh midfielder for England next summer.
