Hiring Henry
IS this a good idea for either party ??? Can he cut it in the Premiership any more ??? Will he help or hinder Arsenal ??
Personally I dont think going back is a good idea... Its never as good second time around

Cath, you sound just like the narrator in Zorro at the Saturday morning pictures.

Not the same player for sure, but remember Henrik Laursen when he went to Man Ure. What harm will the addition of Henry on the bench do, choice of him or Pavlechenko

i was just wondering what you thought... If he comes back and does brilliantly then all well and good. But if he doesnt perform it puts a stain on he previous brilliance...
To me it is like Schumacher and his come back. It has taken a lot of shine off his achievements previously..

Re: Hiring Henry
Not for me it hasn't.
Henry could do a job for us, over a short period, I'm sure.
Nothing will change the fact that he's been one of the finest players ever to have played in the PL and probably, at one time, the best player in the world.

Re: Hiring Henry
Do agree Jak, he was a great player and priviledged to see him play. Heard Ray Parlour on radio the other day and he wondered whether he was a player when he first signed . Cheating french cnut though
