Yes, but looking at the cover of this week's Radio Times, they've brought in a replacement that's just as scrummy.

Oh yes.
I don't know if you watch Stella on Sky, but Ruth Jones's squeeze in that is a bit of all right.

BOOM. Great start to the new series. I didn't know George and Nina were off too though. It gets better with every series I think some awards are due this year.

Re: Being Human
Kill the Vampire the most interesting character, kill the two werewolf's and then randomly add a new trio of housemates who are also a vampire werewolf and female ghost and just add the remaining ghost in with them and kill of their werewolf straight away so that one from the previous series can take that birth.
End result new house, new ghost, new werewolf, new vampire, old ghost remains.
LAME!!

old ghost - good
previous series werewolf way better than original werewolf (tovey hacks me off I think moving him on was a good move)
new vamp - have to wait and see
loss of original vamp - bad but then someone had to go or it would've got stale. he just happened to be offered a job in the US.
new ghost - have to wait and see

Re: Being Human
My point is that they have reset the whole story, a werewolf ghost and vampire all living together was supposed to be this unique thing but now as they kill them all off they suddenly find another house where low and behold a ghost a vampire and a werewolf are also all living together.
Its just lazy story writing tbh.

Re: Being Human
I like Eyebrow Boy and the new vamp reminds me of Bill from True Blood. Mark Williams was great last night as the vampire record keeper. The new baddies have got potential, too.

Re: Being Human
I have watched this from the beginning, it has never been said that there is only one 'Trinity' (trio of a ghost, vamp, werewolf living together). As supernatural beings it was unconventional but it worked for Mitchell, Annie and George they kept themselves grounded so to speak and the story was particularly pertaining to them and what they got up. Due to Mitchell (Aidan) being offered movie roles they thought it best to kill him off (yes it upset a huge amount of people) but it tied up good and it was greatly done. Russell Tovey and his skirt (nina) didn't think the next series would work so they wanted out. The writers came up with a great way of closing the door on them and started the next series tying up those loose ends.
I like the new series it's started off strong, there's parts from other vampire folk lore eg. chosen one etc etc, not copied from other Vampire movies but rather part of the old folk lore stories,, (There's always a chosen one) and still we have a trinity and a new one at that.. Love that the new vamp is Irish (just like Aidan was) so it's a double blessing for me haha.
I have also watched the Being Human (US) version their vamp is called Aidan in honour/respect of the Irish actor that played Mitchell, this started very much the same way as the British storyline but there's were it ends they only did similarities in the first series with a few changes (no dark humour though as they don't understand Brit Humour) and brought what we saw in the 3rd and 4th series right into their first series. Yes it's glossy with good looking vamps and werewolf but it's American and full of Americanisms and is actually a stand alone series now which I could watch further.

That reminds me, I've got to watch the last ep. I've just booked a look around the set when they start filming again in June. Need to make sure that coincides with Lenora filming aye.

Re: Being Human
If someone posted a video on Youtube of two people turning into werewolfs would anyone actually think it was real? no they wouldn't.
