Engerland's future......
....is actually looking as good as it's done for a good while right now.
Assuming the new manager (you know, Hhhhonest 'Arry Redknap) comes in and clears out the deadwood (Terry, Ferdinand, Lampard, Crouch) he's got some pretty good players coming through.
Me, I'd appoint Steve Gerrard as captain (assuming he's fit and can remain so) and build a team/squad including:
Joe Hart (we've got a decent keeper at least/last), Kyle Walker, Cahill, Smalling, Jaglielka, Jones, Ashley Cole (unless he's past his best), Kieran Gibbs (assuming he can keep fit), Jack Wilshere, Young, Agbonlahor, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wayne Rooney (of course), Welbeck, Albrighton - that's seventeen quality players right there -there's a lot coming through for England now so all the manager has got to do is pick'em and manage'em. 'Arry might just have fallen on his feet - come 'aht smellin' of roses, eh?

Not sure on starting line up but I agree that I'd like to see a manager come in and retire all these players who are to old for the next world cup, I would like to see a England team for the future have a go at the euro's, good experience for the future.

Micah Richards has to compete with Walker, two excellent right backs, Milner has to be in squad

Gerrard can piss off too. Wilshere, Parker, and Milner in the middle for me.

I dont think Terry should be in squad, he aint good enought and he aint liked. If a few others have problems with that, they dont go either

I'm not sure about Ferdinand, on his day he's still a top class defender. Just can he guarantee his fitness for a whole tournament after a full season?
