Koscielny
How does he get in your team? He's shite even by Arsenal centre back standards. Glad Liverpool missed their penalty, Suarez really is a dirty cheating little tnuc.

Re: Koscielny
Sczceny was superb today, put some decent defenders in front of him and Arsenal would be challenging for major honours again.

Re: Koscielny
Not the same level of performance today but we got the three points, so we've "stuffed" Tottingham, beaten Liverpool - all we have to do is get the 5-0 win at The Grove against AC Milan and we've cracked it!
Yes, we "nicked" the win today - Liverpool could have scored four TBH but, then again I feel they were lucky early in the season to beat us 2-0 at The Grove so luck evens out PLUS we had a remarkable performance from Szczesny at the back and RvP at the front so you can say we made our own luck!
And yes that was a poor own goal from Koscielny but I disagree with the comment that he's a crap defender - the bloke works his bollox off for 90 minutes every match and he put a lot into slowing down Suarez today.
Overall pleased with our reaction to date to the "disaster" that was The Arsenal a couple of weeks back (apparently) and looking forward to overtaking Tottingham in the table in the coming weeks (that's the Tottingham that are/were the "new power" in London football, the team that shone brightly through every available orifice just a couple of games ago). Thanks to them and their many, many admirers there's still a bit to play for this season. That and the CL of course (said Optimistic Gooner)!

I watched the slowmo and as the ball from Song is in the air Van Persie actually takes his eye off it to see where Reina is, then looks back at the ball, picks up the flight and smashes it into the goal.
Most times you see a ball like that volleyed in, it's a fluke.
This was certainly no fluke, just a brilliant, brilliant strike.

Noticed that as well Jack he takes a quick look to see where the goal and keeper is and then keeps his eye on the ball the whole way, fantastic strike.

Re: Koscielny
Only saw bits of the first half, great cross by Sagny and finish by RVP. He is a real special player and heard Dutch reporter on talksport earlier this week saying he reckons he will stay at Le Arse because of his love for them. I sincerely hope that is true. Heard you were lucky, but who gives a monkeys

I really don't know how you can take your eye off a ball in flight and then look back and pick up the line of flight again, all in a split second. Outstanding!!!!

What a shame his career has been blighted by injury. He's a very special player.
I truly believe that he does have a love for The Arsenal, I think he will stay provided he sees that The Arsenal have the ambition to win things again. That will only come with investment in the side. If he feels the intent to do that is there, he'll sign on the dotted line. If not, he'll be gone. It's up to the powers that be at The Arsenal.
