Blackpool Home
Our last game of the season? Or one more to play after this down at our second home, Wembley?
We can't afford to be as bad as we were on Friday night otherwise we don't stand a chance. That was one of our worst displays of the season and we somehow came away just one goal down.
Tonight we need to play as we know we can from the start, knock in a couple of goals to settle the nerves then go for the jugular and kill off the tie and look forward to Wembley. Then we can all go to the pub afterwards and get paraplegic. Right, that sounds easy enough.
Blues 1 - 2 Blackpool

The Phillips that isn't Kevin has just plopped another one in for them. Looks like a claret and blue and tangerine final.

So a fair result over the two games, I think. Very entertaining. Should be a good game at Wembley. I'll look forward to that.

What a game. What a night.
Ok, so that's the end of our season but last night was bostin, despite the result. The crowd were fantastic, creating a deafening wall of sound especially in the second half.
Poor goalkeeping again from Doyle gifted them the lead and I'm not quite sure how we allowed them to score the second. For whatever reason, Blues only really started to play our normal attacking game after we went 0-2 down which was a bit frustrating. After we pulled it back to 2-2 though Blackpool were shitting themselves. At that point I believed that we'd get at least one more but it wasn't to be. Real nail-biting stuff right until the final whistle.
Chris and the players got a fantastic response from the crowd after the game. It was emotional.
Well done to Blackpool and Ian Holloway, who was left shell shocked by the noise of the Blue Army and was magnanimous in victory. They deserved it over the two legs.
Say lar vee.
