Meanwhile AA did alright back with Zenith eh? Champions! He's good is little AA but I doubt he'll be playing for us again. Strange how some transfers just don't work out. I remember Lee Chapmann - he was one who didn't do the business (way back when).

A big match indeed. We are missing Arteta, he's been a great signing for us, knows when and how to hold the ball.
We need to be right uo for it to win this game but WBA play football, so they'll give us chances that we must take while our defence needs to be a bit less gung-ho. Come on you Gunners!!!!!!!!!!

There's no substitute for experience. Bits of boys like Luton and QB haven't got a Danny how to please a girl.

So, the end of a pretty horrible season (too many ups-and-downs for my liking) with us in third, which is something of a minor miracle IMO.
I hope we learned from our failings and that our key players are ready to push on with us next time around. Glad for Pat Rice it finished with us in the CL at least - there must have been moments this season when he'd wished he'd have retired last year as was his original intention. Still, third ain't bad (particularly when one thinks of the mess we were in at the start of the season - what was it, 17th in September?) - well done to Arsene for hanging in there, despite the open criticism he's had to contend with from all and sundry and here's hoping his "cunning plan" will result in us getting back on track for a couple of (meaningful) trophies next season.

Well you had no Nasri Fabregas Wilkshire and yet improved your league position after a dreadful start. So there are positives.

They need another few players to challenge the top 2, got the German lad, will they keep RVP
