Micah Richards I cant believe is not in the squad. As for Rio, can understand he cant play two games in quick succession, but would have had him there rather than Terry any day.

Richards over Johnson any day, also Jagelka instead of Terry.
And how Henderson isn't in the squad as captain I will never know.

Totally agree about Henderson, surely Carrick is a better option, there again Emile in his midfield playmaker role would be a better option.

Early exit on the cards I think....
not particularly because of the squad... but just what has happened

Sounds like a fag's paradise!
Re: England squad for Euro 2012
Weakest squad in well over a decade.. Adam Johnson should've been ahead of Downing and Micah Richards should be in too..
Can see fat Frank starting alongside Parker/Barry with Gerrard behind Carrol.. Theo and Young patrolling the wing..
Quarters would be good.. anything else fantastic but unlikely..

You looking to book a holiday there?
Highly rated by people. Can't say that I've seen him play though.

Re: England squad for Euro 2012
Would've preferred Johnson over Downing - at least Johnson is dynamic. Personally I'd have left John Terry out but, as I say, that's personal. Aside from that, no real problem with the squad - let's face it, it ain't that good but it's what we've got. If Hodgson can add some teamwork/spirit in there all well and good, otherwise nobody is expecting much (for once) and maybe that's a good thing - we might be pleasantly surprised.

JP agree with you regarding the team spirit, that is why I am surprised Terry is there

Re: England squad for Euro 2012
The squad is pretty much what i expected. Would've gone for Adam Johnson over Downing and would've gone for Jagielka over Terry. Also would have Richards in instead of one of the midfielders, possibly Walcott. I'd have also made room for Crouch instead of Welbeck or Defoe.
As for Henderson, feck knows.
Also we are firmly in the shit if Hart gets injured or suspended. I was hoping either Robinson or Foster would make themselves available. Ruddy is untried and Green is IMO simply not good enough.

For me Walcott offers dynamism, at least potentially. As I said I'd have preferred not to have Terry, Welbeck is one for the future and with Carroll in the squad you don't need Crouch IMO. Aside from Hart we don't have a lot of choice. Robinson, like Green is apt to make a blunder so both are equal IMO with Ruddy, again one for the future.

Green, Downing and Carroll jump out at me, none of them should be in the squad.

Re: England squad for Euro 2012
Green has had yet another excellent season for West Ham.
The squad is the same old guff. Woy said he wants to keep faith with the players who got to Euro 2012 which is fair enough, just hope there's big changes after the competition.

Yes, and Rob Green was one of the only players to come out of that season with a bit of credit.

Short memory? or One eyed with a very claret monocle?
I remember the stat was that West Ham had conceded the most goals through unforced goalkeeping errors then any other team, he cost you your premiership status basically.
