Prometheus
Anyone seen it? We're going to the cinema this afternoon, trying to decide between Prometheus and MIB3.

Re: Prometheus
Prometheus was gooood, but some things didn't exactly make sense, mainly how does the body of that Alien now get back to the chair which is where we see it at the start of Alien?

Re: Prometheus
Maybe there'll be another prequel? I do love Idris Elba, by the way.

Re: Prometheus
Would be a bit lame sequel if it just shows that alien moving the body back to the chair lol, also why would the alien care where the body is sat, it's one hole in the story, the other is why did the robot infect that bloke, just seems a bit strange as he couldn't have then known that he would shag that girl and that it would create an alien baby, those was the only two major plot falls for me.

Re: Prometheus
I thought he did it out of spite, to be honest. The robot reminded me a bit of Jude Law in AI and i wondered if Charlize Teron was a robot too, she looked a bit Seven of Nineish, don't you think? The bit where Elizabeth got rid of the baby didn't hold back any, almost had to watch it through my fingers. And I was sort of waiting for a hologram of Sigourney Weaver at one point.

Re: Prometheus
It seemed like that but he supposed to be emotionless, I though he did it because the company wanted to take a specimen back to earth just like in Alien, as he wanted to put her in stasis with the alien baby, but how could he have known that would have happened I don't know, the bit getting rid of the baby was good but she had just struggled free from the medical staff it agai didn't make sense that none of them came to get her before she could get in the machine to abort it and none even came after , another hole in the plot tbh.
I still enjoyed the film though

Re: Prometheus
Lad at work said he had to read up on the story line after watching the film, and apparently that planet isn't the planet we see in Alien, so that's why he isn't in the chair when it bursts out his chest as thats a different ship. Just opens more questions... I want to see the sequel now!!! haven't they made it yet? humf!
