Watching Holland v Denmark
Am sitting here watching this match and my initial thoughts are..... why bother
I saw a bit of the Greece match too and that was tedious too...
I do think that you cant beat a Premiership match for excitement

The Greece match was brilliant, not sure what game you were watching. Enjoying this one too.

So far i've watched both of yesterday's games and 20 mins of today's. Normally the first game of the group is a tight affair but i've really enjoyed everything thus far

Group A looks poor aside from the Russians, but I don't think there's a dull looking fixture outside of that.

Like I said I only saw a bit of it...
The Dutch game seems to have livened up slightly...

Good start to the tournament IMO, thoroughly enjoying the football I've watched so far and I love the atmosphere International football has. Can't wait for the England game, these tournaments are feckin great!

Re: Watching Holland v Denmark
As I might have mentioned before I don't much care for national football teams, their matches and tournaments but I have to admit that I've pretty much enjoyed all the games so far this time around. That's probably because none of the teams have come out to play cautious football (except, perhaps the Greeks until they went 1-0 down) which usually happens in first games in such competitions. I'm prepared to be bored to tears by England tomorrow in their 1-0 victory over the French - indeed were England to turn out be "The Most Boring Team In Football" and win all their matches 1-0, thus winning the tournament I'd be well chuffed, especially since the FA have apparently chartered a jet for the England team's return immediately following the group stages - there's motivation right there!

The Germany match was dull, but they look like they're gonna be grinding out the results yet again. Would like the Danes to qualify ahead of Holland and Portugal. Spain v Italy today, and should be a good match between Ireland and Croatia as well.

Re: Watching Holland v Denmark
The Germans want to play football but Portugal with all the attacking talent parked the bus.. thats what made it a dull game.. once they came out and attacked it was a different Portugal.. why teams like that have to be negative i have no idea..
Also hope Danes dont make it thru.. want all the flair teams to progress..

I like watching counter attacking teams and the Danes did that perfectly. Far more exciting than tippy-tappy. And it's always good to have an underdog shock a few teams.

I know it was hot and humid out there yesterday... but the matches seemed to be so slow to me....

Another excellent game of football at the moment. Blazczkowski's goal was superb.
