So France are way better than us, but I still think we can take em if we don't sit back and try and defend too deeply. Why do we do that FFS.

Good point that. Hart kept us in it, he is quality. Need to keep the ball better and win it back more quickly when we lose it.

I was pleased with the performance and content with the result. I think we caused them as many problens as they did us. The back 4 did well though i think Johnson needs to improve defensively. Parker and Gerrard did well also. Milner and Welbeck put in a good shift but both lacked the final ball. Young started the game well but the Frogs got to grips with him and played him well. I'd like to see the Ox running at the fullback more but considering his age and lack of experience did a tidy job.
As for the manager, i've really warmed to him. He conducts himself impeccably and at 1-1 all three substitutions were positive attacking changes. Personally i'd have replaced Welbeck with Carroll for the last twenty and had a go at Mexes.
Man of the match, take your pick from Terry,Lescott and Cole. I don't like the bloke and to be honest wouldn't have put him in the squad but for me i'd say Terry edges it.

That ref was a fecking joke, how the feck wasnt Cabaye booked. Defended too deep when we took the lead.
