Sunderland are apparently prepared to meet Wolves £12 million asking price for him. There really isn't very much up for grabs so far this transfer window, is there?

I hope they get him cos it will mean we arent. Decent player, but a lot of money, far too much IMHO

Ridiculous amount of money, I hope they get him as I really don't like Sunderland, horrible scummy fans.

Mr Martin Oneil.. same transfer tactics as per usual.. was a reason why after Villa a he ended up at a club like Sunderland then one of the big 5 or 6..

Apparently Wolves have rejected a bid in excess of £12 million for Fletcher. Unbelievable both from the the fact that they have rejected anything in excess of £10 million and that Sunderland are prepared to pay that amount.

Wolves fan at work seems to think he is worth that amount and that Jarvis is worth £9m. I said if wolves had a striker worth £12m + and a midfielder worth £9m they wouldn't have gone down. He couldn't disagree with that

Over the top fees on a average British player.. not like Mr Oneil to do that..
